How to moderate the comments of users?
Through the moderation module of your Bpart platform, you manage your online debate: you moderate comments and entries submitted by users or participants.
This article specifically focuses on moderating comments.
Starting point: status of a new comment
When a participant submits a comment to your project, it appears immediately on the platform. Bpart (AI) or other users can flag a comment as potentially inappropriate. In the background, a newly submitted comment therefore has three labels:
- Visible
- Not moderated
- Potentially inappropriate (yes/no)
Comments that are potentially inappropriate appear as moderation tasks on your dashboard and on the start screen when moderating comments. In other words, these are comments that Bpart (AI) or other users believe should be reviewed.
All other comments can be found using similar filters in the second tab of the comment moderation module.

Moderating comments
For comments that have not yet been moderated but are already visible on your platform, you have two possible actions. You can recognise these comments by their yellow color.
- Unpublish removes the comment from the platform
- Keep published confirms that the comment is allowed to remain online
Comments that have already been moderated can be recognised by their green color (visible on the platform) or red color (not visible). You can still change the visibility of a moderated comment:
- a visible comment can be unpublished (taken offline)
- a non-visible comment can be published (made visible)
