How to moderate the entries of users?

Before users' entries appear on your platform, they have to be moderated. You can do this in the moderation section of the software. Your users' posts will only appear if you have approved them in moderation.



Open the Moderation item in the menu on the left side of the screen.
Then choose the sub-item Posts.
Choose a post you wish to moderate and click the Moderate button on the right.



Tab 1:





Please choose from the following options:
Click Publish to approve the entry.
Click Don't Publish to reject the entry.
Click Internal review to send the entry to a colleague.
Click Send feedback to give a user feedback on an entry.
Click on Edit to make changes to the post.

Tab 2: Feedback



Publish




The mail for an approved post will appear automatically.
Click Send with feedback to notify the user that his entry has been published.
Click Save without feedback to publish the post without informing the user.

Don’t Publish




The mail for rejecting a post will appear automatically.
Click Send with feedback to inform the user that his post has not been published.
Click Save without feedback to not publish the entry without informing the user.

Internal review




The mail for forwarding a post will appear automatically.
In the To section, choose to whom you want to send the entry.
You may add questions or suggestions to the e-mail.
Click the Forward button to not publish the post yet and to ask for internal advice.

Send feedback




The mail for sending feedback on an entry will appear automatically.
Enter your feedback about the post in the mail.
Click Send feedback to not publish the entry yet and to send the feedback to the user.

Edit




The post is opened.
Adjust the parts of the entry that you want to change.
Click the Save button at the top right to save your changes.
Then continue moderating the post.

Tab 3: Classify





In the Selected tags section, open the dropdown menu (with the arrow) and select the tag you want to add to the post.
It is possible to add more than one tag to a post. This can be done by opening the dropdown menu again and adding a second tag.
It is also possible to create a new tag here. You can do this by typing the name of your new tag in the select section and then click on Create "name of your tag".



You can remove a tag by clicking on its cross.



Click on Save to save the addition of the tag.
Click on Save & Next to save the addition of the tag and move on to the next post.
