How to create a new topic?
Through your platform you have the possibility to not only inform citizens, but also involve them in your project. With the interactive module of the platform you give the users the opportunity to let themselves be heard. For example, by submitting ideas for certain topics or by giving feedback on an idea from the board.
You can create a new topic from scratch: step 1
You can create a new topic by making a copy or duplicating another topic: step 2
You can edit or manage existing topics: as from step 3
To start, go to "ideation" in the Bpart menu.
To start a new topic from scratch, click "new" in the upper right corner. You will then see a "new topic" screen. Go to step 3.
To start a new topic by duplicating another topic, click on the "copy" icon next to the topic you want to duplicate. A new topic appears in the list of topics. Click the "edit" of this topic to start. You will now see the "edit topic" screen. Go to step 3.
Give the topic an internal name in the Internal name section.
This name is only used in the back office and is not visible to users.
In the Topic Image section, you can optionally give your topic an image.
Turn on the Visible button when you want to publish the topic on your platform. If not, leave the button off still.
Determine which interactions are possible for users by activating the Posting, Sharing, Voting and Commenting features.
Activate Posting when users are allowed to submit entries.
Activate the Sharing component when users are allowed to share each other's entries on social media.
Enable the Voting component when users are allowed to vote on submitted entries.
Activate the Commenting component to allow users to post comments under the entries of other users.
Give your topic a public title and description.
Define the input of the citizens in Entry name singular and Entry name plural.

Your topic has now been added.
