How do I adjust the automatic e-mails?
The platform automatically sends out mails to participants when you manually approve or reject a post or comment. You can customise these mails to suit your project.
Note: If you already have moderation emails and want to edit them, click the Edit icon. Then follow the steps from step 8.
Open the Moderation item in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
Then choose the sub-item Feedback emails.
You will see a list of all the moderation emails. Under Context you can see whether the moderation email is about an entry or a comment. Under Action you can see if the input is approved, rejected or other.
Or click on the New icon to add a new mail.
In the Name section, give your mail a clear title. Participants will not see this.
In the Context section, choose whether your mail is about an entry or a comment.
In the Action section, indicate whether the participant's contribution or comment is approved, rejected or different when sending the e-mail.
In the Subject section, enter the subject of your email.
In the Body section, enter the content of your email.
Tip: Copy the body of an existing mail to keep some code. Example:
Salutation: Dear {{ first_name }} {{ last_name }}
Link to the rejected post: {{ entry_url }}
Content of the rejected post: {{ entry }}
Link to your platform {{ project_url }}
In the top right corner, click on the Save button.
Your email template has now been added!
