How to change the topic of an entry?

An entry evolves from an initial idea into a concrete project proposal, or a submitted entry fits better under a different topic or theme than the one originally selected by the participant: there can be several reasons to move an entry to another topic or theme. Switching entries between topics is possible via the moderation module.

Go to the moderation overview of entries, search for the relevant entry, and open it.
The pop-up screen opens automatically on step 1 (review).
Click “Switch Topic”.

On the left, you see the original entry. On the right, select the new topic (label 1). The input fields of the new topic appear (label 2). Fill them in.
Click “Switch Topic” in the bottom-right corner.
Important: any original content that is not transferred will be permanently deleted.

Select a topic, fill in the fields, and confirm the switch
