Add or edit a link (URL) on your project
You can add, edit or remove links (URLs) on different modules of your Bpart platform, such as menu items, carrousel button, call-to-action, live tiles or timeline items. To set a link or URL, you will use a URL picker. With the URL picker, you can link to:
- A page in your project
- An external website
- A file (PDF, document, etc.)
For internal pages, use the page selector or only the page path. This keeps your links working if your project URL changes.
Choose the right link type
What you want to link to | What to choose | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
A page in your project | Project page | Select the page from the list |
A website outside the project | Custom URL | Full URL (https://…) |
A PDF or document | File | Select the file |
Add a link
- Choose Project page, Custom URL, or File.
- Select the page or file, or paste the URL.
- (Optional) Enable Open in new tab.
- Click Add URL.

Important: Internal pages and paths
Common mistake: pasting a full internal or preview URL
Do not do this for internal pages:
https://my-organisation.bpart-preview.eu/my-project/rules
Do this instead:
- Select the page in Project page, or
- choose Custom URL and enter only the path:
rulesWhy?
Your project URL can change. The page path stays the same. Path-only links keep working.
What is a page path?
A page path is the part after your website address and project extension. Example:
- Full URL: https://my-organisation.bpart-preview.eu/my-project/rules
- Path:
rules
Link to an external website or a deep page
- Choose Custom URL.
- Paste the full URL, including
https://, or paste the page path (for example "news_items/17" or "rules") - (Optional) Enable Open in new tab.
- Click Add URL.

Link to a file
- Choose File.
- Select the file from the list.
- (Optional) Enable Open in new tab.
- Click Add URL.

Troubleshooting
My internal link stopped working
