How to create a new topic?
With Bpart, you can engage people in your project through topics. This interactive module allows visitors or citizens to make their voices heard. Examples include submitting ideas on certain themes, collecting feedback on a proposal, or submitting projects for a participatory budget.
Go to the project for which you want to create or launch a topic, and click "ideation" in the menu. You will now see an overview of your topics. To create a new topic, you have two options: create a completely new topic or copy an existing topic.
Step 1 - option A: create a new topic
Click the "New" icon in the top right corner. A blank form will appear to create a new topic.
Step 1 - option B: copy an existing topic
Click the "copy" or "duplicate" icon next to the topic you want to copy. The new topic immediately appears in your overview, but it is not visible on your public platform. Click on the topic and on edit, or directly on the pencil icon ("edit" or "modify").
Step 2: manage all topic settings
For a new topic, fill in the fields below. For a copy of an existing topic, adjust only what’s needed.

Click "Save": your topic is now created and, if marked as "visible", it appears on your /topics page on the participation platform.
Step 3: manage your form
When you create a new topic, a form is automatically generated. When you copy a topic, the form is also duplicated.
Participants who want to submit an idea or contribution fill out this form. You can manage and edit this form for each topic.
Step 4: manage your topic from the project dashboard
On your project dashboard, you’ll find several "quick settings" for all your topics, allowing you to easily manage your main settings during your project.
