# Use Files

To add certain files to your platform, you must use the Files section. This is the media library of your platform. The component is at the level of the organisation, so you will find all the files of your organisation in that library.

### Add a file to your media library

1.  Open the item **Files** in the menu on the left side of the screen.   
2.  Click on the **New** icon to add a file.    
3.  Give your file a description in the Description text box.    
4.  Click on the button **Upload**.    
5.  Choose the file you want to add by clicking the name of the file on your computer and then clicking **Open**.    
6.  Then click the button **Save**.    
7.  Your file has now been added to your media library.

### The different actions with Files

###### Download:
 Click on the **Download** icon to download the file.

###### Link:
Click on the **Link** button to copy the URL of the file.

Then you can paste the URL into the section where you want to use the file.
   
###### Edit:
Click the **Edit** icon to rename or replace the file.

###### Delete:
Click the **Delete** button to remove the file from the media library.
