Highlight messages with a call-to-action

You can highlight a message next to the news articles section on the homepage by using a call-to-action. You can also show a call-to-action next to a news item itself. Using call-to-actions is not obligatory, but in order to see call-to-actions you do need to use and show news items.

Create one or multiple call-to-actions

Go to the content section of your project in the Bpart admin interface and select "Call-to-action". Choose to either create a new call-to-action or edit an existing one.

A call-to-action exists of

  • internal name: only visible to you in the admin interface
  • image and image alt text
  • body text
  • button text or label
  • button URL, which you can choose to open in a new tab or not

Don't forget to hit the save button!

Select the active call-to-actions

There are two locations where you can display a call-to-action:

  • on the homepage of your project, next to the news items section. Your news items section needs to be activated or your CTA will not show. Discover how you can do this here.
  • on the page of a news item itself

Use the dropdown to select a call-to-action, choose "none" if you don't want a call-to-action to be displayed. This setting is auto-saved.
