Manage your project carousel
The carousel or hero of your Bpart project is your eye-catcher! You can highlight information, provide a direct link to a page or simply show an image or video.
To manage the carousel, open the 'content' tab and click on Carousel. You will now see an overview of your carousel items (yes, there can be multiple!).
Click on the new or edit icon to create or manage a carousel item. You will now see the different input fields you can define.
Click the Upload button to upload a video or image. Pay attention: if you upload a video, all other texts and buttons of your carousel item will not be visible.
Define a top text, title and bottom text for your carousel item (if you uploaded an image). These texts will appear on the image (desktop) or under the image (mobile). All texts are optional.
Under the texts, you can put a button: put in button text and select a button URL to make it appear. You can choose whether the URL needs to open in the same or in a new tab (open in new bat - toggle).
Here you can find more information on how to set up a URL to an external and an internal page.
You can prepare carousel items. Simply leave the visible button off, the carousel item will not appear on your project. You can switch the button on or off at any time: you will also find this toggle on your project dashboard.
You can use images, gifs or even videos in your carousel item. But pay attention:
There is a 5Mb limit for videos. Looking for a free video resizer? Have a look at https://ezgif.com/resize-video.
You can use images of any format (landscape, square, portrait ...), but we recommend the landscape format. Do pay attention to this if you are using multiple carousel items: it's best to have consistency!
