Manage pages

'Pages' is an essential module of your Bpart platform to inform visitors about your project.

  • Every project has a few standard pages when it's being set up, such as privacy or a thank you page to show after registration or to confirm good receipt of a new entry. You can edit and manage those.
  • You can create an unlimited amount of new pages for every project.

To manage your pages, click on the "content" menu item and look for "pages". You will now see an overview of the pages of your project.

There's three things you need to know:

  1. Create a new page
  2. Add or edit content on a page
  3. Make the page available for website visitors

Create a new page

Click on the "new" button in the upper right corner. A "new page" screen will appear.

Fill in the "name" of your page. This is your internal name and will be used to create the URL slug (www.yourprojecturl.be/the-name-of-your-page). You will not be able to change this after you've created the page.

Turn on the visible toggle if you want your page to be visible after you've created it. You can change this later: by doing so you can prepare your page, and only make it visible after you have finished.

Continue to "edit the content of a page".

Add or edit content on a page

In the page overview, click on the edit icon next to the page you want to edit OR continue your process of creating a new page.

You can now add

  • Page title: the title of your page. This will automatically become a <H1> heading tag. You can change this title anytime you want.
  • Page body: write, edit or format the text of your page, using the different icons in the WYSIWYG editor.

Click on "Save" or "Create page": your page is now up to date!

Copy-pasting text from Word, Google Docs or similar? Watch out!

Make sure you do not paste the formatting: either use "paste without formatting" or select all text and click on the "clear formatting" icon. If you paste your Word or Google Doc formatting, texts can look weird and can conflict with your accessibility.

Pages do not appear on your platform automatically.

  • Use the "visible" toggle to publish your page on the page URL.
  • Link your page URL to a menu item, live tile, call to action ... or other to make sure visitors can access the page
