Two-factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication (2FA) helps protect your account by requiring not just your password, but also a unique verification code from your phone. This extra layer of security helps keep your account safe — even if your password is compromised.
Two-factor authentication adds an extra step when logging into your account. Instead of logging in with just your email and password, you’ll also enter a 6-digit code generated by an app on your phone, such as:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Any other TOTP-compatible app
This means that even if someone gets your password, they won’t be able to access your account without also having access to your mobile device.
You can enable 2FA at any time from your profile settings.
Steps to enable 2FA:
Log in to your Bpart account.
Go to My Profile (your name in the upper right corner) → Settings.
Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication and follow the instructions on the screen.
Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code on screen.
Enter the 6-digit code from your app to confirm.
That’s it! 2FA is now active.
🔒 You can disable 2FA from the same screen, as long as you're logged in.
If you lose access to your 2FA device (e.g., lost phone or deleted app), you won’t be able to log in. But don’t worry — we can help.
Recovery steps:
Email support@bpart.com from the email address linked to your account.
Include:
- Your full name
- The organization(s) you manage or work with
- A short explanation of what happened (e.g., “I lost my phone”)
Our support team will reach out, verify your identity and reset your 2FA access.
⚠️ Recovery is only possible after manual identity verification. Once you’re back in, we strongly recommend re-enabling 2FA for your security.
