# How do you make an export of the input or of participants?

You can make an export of 2 things: of the **participants** in your project, or of the **entries** received on the platform. By exporting data, you can use it to make conclusions after the project is completed and for further communication about it.

1.  Open the **Exports** item in the menu on the left of the screen.    
2.  Click on the **Prepare Download** button under Participants to retrieve the list of participants.

3.  Under **Ideation** tick all topics of which you want to download the entries and comments. You can select several topics at the same time. They will all be in the same file.    
4.  Click on the **Prepare Download** button to make the entries ready.

5.  Your files are loaded. You will receive a mail when your export is ready. This takes a maximum of 15 minutes, depending on the size of your file.    
6.  Click on the **Download** button in the list to retrieve your export.

|| Note: Would you like to export all topics separately? Follow the steps from step 3, checking only one topic at a time. Repeat the steps until you have downloaded all your topics.
