# Highlight messages with a call-to-action

You can highlight a message next to the news articles section on the homepage by using a call-to-action. You can also show a call-to-action next to a news item itself. Using call-to-actions is not obligatory, but in order to see call-to-actions you do need to use and show news items.

### Create one or multiple call-to-actions

Go to the content section of your project in the Bpart admin interface and select "Call-to-action". Choose to either create a new call-to-action or edit an existing one.

A call-to-action exists of
* internal name: only visible to you in the admin interface
* image and image alt text
* body text
* button text or label
* button URL, which you can choose to open in a new tab or not

Don't forget to hit the save button!

### Select the active call-to-actions

There are two locations where you can display a call-to-action:
* on the homepage of your project, next to the news items section. Your news items section needs to be activated or your CTA will not show. [Discover how you can do this here](/en/article/how-to-change-the-structure-of-the-homepage-1b179sb/).
* on the page of a news item itself

Use the dropdown to select a call-to-action, choose "none" if you don't want a call-to-action to be displayed. This setting is auto-saved.
