# Building your survey form

Once your survey is created, you land on the survey builder. This is where you define the structure and content of your survey: pages, questions, and conditions.

The builder always shows the same structure from top to bottom:

1. **Start page** — the first thing participants see before the survey begins
2. **Pages with questions** — one or more pages, each containing one or more questions
3. **Confirmation page** — shown after the last question, before submitting
4. **Thank you page** — shown after the participant submits their answers

## Pages

A survey is organised in pages. Each page is shown to the participant as a separate step. Use **+ Add a page** to add a new page. You can give each page a title, reorder pages, and delete them.

## Questions

Within each page, click **+ Add a question** to add a question. Choose a question type from the list. You can reorder questions within a page by dragging them, and delete questions you no longer need.

## Conditional logic

You can show or hide a page based on a participant's answer to a previous question. Open a page's settings and go to **Visibility logic**. Add one or more conditions and define the default, and when the page should be hidden or shown.

> Example: only show the page "Event details" if a participant answered "Yes" to the question "Would you like to attend an event?"

## Start page

Click **Start page** in the builder to open its settings. You can:

- Show or hide the start page entirely
- Edit the title and description
- Customise the label of the button that starts the survey
- Add an image

## Confirmation page

The confirmation page is shown after the last question, giving participants a moment to review their answers before submitting. Click **Confirmation page** in the builder to edit the title and description. The Back and Submit buttons are fixed and cannot be changed.

## Thank you page

The thank you page is shown after a participant submits their answers. Click **Thank you page** in the builder to edit the title and description. You can also add an optional call-to-action button that links to a destination of your choice.
